Four Principles

Our data commitments to every farmer.

Your data. Your farm.

All data you share with PreciAgro — photos, messages, location, farm history — belongs to you. We hold it on your behalf and use it only with your implicit or explicit consent as described in this policy.

Minimum necessary.

We collect only what we need to deliver accurate agricultural intelligence. We do not collect data speculatively or for undefined future uses.

Anonymise before analysing.

Any use of your data to improve our AI systems uses anonymised and aggregated representations — never your individual identity.

Transparent by default.

You can always ask what data we hold, how we've used it, and request its deletion. No bureaucracy.

Delivering your advice

Core service — cannot opt out

Your photo + GPS + weather + crop history are combined in real-time to generate your specific recommendation. Data used only for this purpose unless you opt in to more.

Improving AI accuracy

Your anonymised interaction (photo type, condition detected, advice given, confidence score) is used to improve our agricultural AI models. Your identity is never attached.

Regional pattern insights

Always anonymised

Aggregated data from many farms is analysed to identify regional disease outbreaks, weather patterns, and seasonal trends. Results are shared publicly or with agricultural authorities.

Research partnerships

Anonymised · Partners NDA-bound

We may collaborate with agricultural universities and research institutions using anonymised datasets. No individual farm data is ever shared with external parties.

Commercial analytics

Never · Without your consent

We never sell individual farmer data to commercial third parties — agribusiness, insurance, credit providers, or anyone else — without explicit individual consent.

Retention

How long we keep each type of data.

Crop photos	6 months	Enables historical comparison and re-diagnosis. Delete on request.
Messages and queries	12 months	Builds context for more accurate future advice.
Farm profile data	Duration of account + 12 months	Deleted within 30 days of account deletion request.
GPS / location logs	90 days	Used for weather context retrieval. Purged automatically.
Anonymised AI training data	Indefinite	No personal identifiers. Used to improve system accuracy.

Opting out of AI training data use

You can opt out of having your anonymised interactions used to improve our AI models at any time. This will not affect your access to the service or the quality of advice you receive. To opt out, message us on WhatsApp or email privacy@preciagro.com.
