Terms of Service

By accessing PreciAgro via WhatsApp, SMS, our mobile application, or our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms apply to all users of the PreciAgro platform, including farmers participating in our pilot program, registered account holders, and visitors to our website.

PreciAgro provides AI-powered agricultural intelligence services. Our services include: • Crop disease and pest identification from photos • Personalised agricultural recommendations based on local conditions • Weather-integrated farming advice • Multi-platform delivery via WhatsApp, SMS, mobile app, and web dashboard PreciAgro is designed to support farming decisions, not replace professional agricultural advice. Our recommendations are generated by AI systems and should be considered alongside your own knowledge and judgement.

IMPORTANT: PreciAgro provides AI-generated agricultural guidance for informational purposes only. Our service is not a substitute for advice from a licensed agronomist, agricultural extension officer, or other qualified professional. While we strive for high accuracy (and publish our confidence scores with every recommendation), agricultural outcomes depend on many factors beyond what our system can observe or predict. PreciAgro accepts no liability for crop losses, financial damages, or other negative outcomes resulting from following our recommendations. Always use your judgement. When in doubt, consult a qualified agronomist.

By using PreciAgro, you agree to: • Provide accurate information about your farm, location, and crops • Use the service only for lawful agricultural purposes • Not attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or misuse our AI systems • Not share your account credentials with third parties • Not use the service to generate or distribute harmful content • Provide honest feedback to help us improve the platform

All content, AI models, algorithms, software, and infrastructure comprising the PreciAgro platform are the intellectual property of PreciAgro and are protected by copyright, patent, and other applicable laws. You retain ownership of all data you provide — including farm photos, messages, and profile information. By using our service, you grant PreciAgro a limited, non-exclusive licence to use your data to provide and improve the service, subject to our Privacy Policy. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our platform without explicit written permission.

We target 99.5% uptime for our core services. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to PreciAgro. Scheduled maintenance, technical issues, or events beyond our control may result in temporary unavailability. During the pilot phase, service levels are delivered on a best-efforts basis. We will notify pilot participants of planned maintenance at least 24 hours in advance via WhatsApp.

Participation in the PreciAgro Pilot Program is subject to: • Selection by PreciAgro based on application criteria • Agreement to provide honest feedback during and after the 6-week program • Agreement to allow anonymised usage data to be used for system improvement • Understanding that the pilot is free of charge with no obligation to purchase after the pilot concludes PreciAgro reserves the right to remove participants from the pilot if terms are violated.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PreciAgro shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of crops, loss of profits, or loss of data. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to PreciAgro in the twelve months preceding the claim. For free pilot participants, our maximum liability is USD $100.

Either party may terminate the service relationship at any time. You may delete your account by contacting privacy@preciagro.com. PreciAgro may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms, with or without prior notice depending on the severity of the violation. Upon termination, your data will be handled per our Privacy Policy.

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Any disputes shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation, then, if unresolved, to binding arbitration in Harare, Zimbabwe under the rules of the Arbitration Act of Zimbabwe. For EU users, nothing in these terms limits your rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

We may update these terms periodically. We will notify you of material changes via WhatsApp or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
